Elevated Flare, Tower Supported Industrial Flare System for Petrochemical Waste Gas Combustion
The elevated flare system utilizes vertical pipelines to deliver waste gas to the tower top for combustion. This design keeps the flame away from ground level to limit thermal radiation, protecting operators and equipment. Widely used for incinerating toxic waste gas in the petrochemical industry, it effectively reduces pollution through high-altitude diffusion.

Tower Supported Flare
Utilizes triangular or quadrilateral steel towers. Suitable for high flares with limited land space where self-supported or guy wire types cannot be used. Modular on-site assembly is available when lifting equipment is restricted. Higher investment and maintenance costs make this ideal for large flow waste gas applications. -
Self-supported Flare
Features a small footprint, perfect for projects with limited land and medium-low gas flow. Special design resists wind vibration and prevents tube distortion. The foundation must withstand all wind loads and torque, resulting in more complex structural design requirements. -
Guy Wire Supported Flare
The most cost-effective option. Guy wires provide buffer force against aerodynamic load. Disadvantages include large space requirements for anchor points, with a safety radius equal to 55% of flare height. Offers higher gas handling capacity than self-supported types but requires complicated foundation calculations.
| Support Type | Advantages | Application |
|---|---|---|
| Tower Supported | Moderate footprint, flexible assembly, large capacity | High flare, limited site, large emission chemical plant |
| Self-supported | Minimum land occupation | Small & medium plant, tight space, low gas flow |
| Guy Wire Supported | Economical cost | Open area with sufficient space for anchor points |
Petrochemical plants, refineries, coal chemical factories, and oil & gas fields for process vent gas and emergency waste gas incineration. Custom height and handling capacity options are available to meet specific operational requirements.
